Jed's Maple Recipes
Maple Cranberry Sauce
- 2 cups cranberries (fresh or frozen)
- 1/2 cup maple syrup (the real stuff)
- 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup cranberry juice
- 1/2 tsp lemon peel or lemon juice

This is great on oatmeal, ice cream, rice, potatoes.
Combine all ingredients in pot, bring slowly to boil, stirring to dissolve sugar. Reduce heat to low and simmer till most berries pop, about 5 minutes. Chill. Keep covered in fridge. Lasts about a week.
