Jed's Maple Sugar & Pepper

Tim Buskey, Executive Director of Vermont Farm Bureau (right) hosted "Cooking with Maple" on Vermont Public Television recently as a fund raiser for the VPT and promotion event for the Vermont maple industry.  Eight Vermont cooks demonstrated their recipes while VPT raised more than $8,000 in pledges.  Westfield sugarmaker Steve Wheeler  is shown here talking about the uses of his maple sugar & pepper product before going into his recipe. Sugarmaker volunteers did the cooking and provided the recipes for a new VPT maple recipe book that was given to those who pledged.  (Larry Myott Photo)
